Oh my god. It's full of code!

Cloud Challenge, Chatter Social Influence – Codename Swagger

So this is the latest in my Cloudspokes challenge entries. The Salesforce Chatter Social Influence app. Same basic idea as Kred or Klout, it measures peoples influence over topics and other people in a social atmosphere by gauging what they are talking about, and the public’s reaction to what they are saying. Cloudspokes will be open sourcing the work when the challenge is complete, so keep an eye on their site to grab the project if you like it and want to build on it, or use it as is.

  1. This is awesome. Really cool that score updates immediately. Does would be cool to have logic where people with higher swagger commenting on your post gives you more swagger as you are influencing the influential – so swagger score relates not only to the volume of interaction but who is interacting. Also as this is a chatter org, and essentially your company perhaps getting extra swagger if CEO or senior level execs comment etc.

Even without those additions this is really well implemented.

    • Those are some really cool ideas. If people actually express interest in using this thing, then I may try and incorporate those features. I’m glad you like it! Hopefully Cloudspokes does well!
